A major role of a volunteer or intern with the service is to assist with both departmental and museum-wide projects. For example, this may include greeting guests at events, helping with activities for children, or research. In some cases, the volunteer service begins preparation many months in advance. Festival and Quest “Discover your Europe in the Hermitage”

Computer Graphics Competition “Greece through the Ages”
Volunteers research the information about Greek culture and make up the topics of the competition. Based on the collected information volunteers can make a introductory presentation for prospective participants. After the works are submitted, volunteers participate in evaluation of the works and organize a memorable award event.
